Macmillan: Financial Guidance

By January 14, 2013August 29th, 2014No Comments

Onclick are proud to be working with Macmillan Cancer Support, developing a bespoke Macmillan-branded e-learning programme for their in-house Financial Guides.

The programme provides up-to-date financial information for staff to use when advising and supporting those affected by cancer. Not only can it be used as a linear e-learning programme, but this course has been specifically designed so that staff can easily dip in and dip out of topics, allowing it to serve as a useful online resource within the workplace.

The course incorporates example case studies and suggested Financial Guide responses for staff to consider, whilst also providing a selection of additional downloadable FAQ’s and financial information for staff to keep as a reference.

Designed in a pure HTML format, this e-learning programme can work effectively cross-platform: from desktops to tablet and mobile. The content is held externally in an XML format, meaning that material is easily updatable by the client at the click of a button. For Macmillan, this was a key part of their brief due to frequent changes in financial guidance and laws. Keen to stay within Macmillan’s brand guidelines, Onclick worked alongside the organisation’s marketing department to maintain their unique brand identity.
